DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Conduct quantitative analyses of information involving investment portfolios for high net worth (HNW) clients in Brazil. Run investment portfolio analysis and perform financial modeling in order to tailor and provide complex investment advice and solutions to HNW clients in Brazil. Perform financial market data/analytics and prepare price quotes, comparing potential allocation strategies and generating multi-period projections based on complex market conditions including using Monte Carlo analysis. Use the Portuguese language to advise HNW Brazilian clients on wealth planning, including asset allocation, investments, credit and banking needs, and overall balance sheet. Speak to HNW Brazilian clients in Portuguese in order to ascertain clients' wealth management needs, provide targeted investment advice, develop thoughtful financial solutions, and maintain client relationships. Ensure that proposed financial solutions fulfill clients' needs and objectives in the short-, medium-, and long-term using a holistic goals-based planning approach and taking into account the specific needs of HNW clients in Brazil that differ from the needs of institutional, mass affluent, or high net worth clients elsewhere. Use the Portuguese language to help senior bankers win new clients and to strengthen existing client relationships in an effort to acquire new assets both from existing client base and from prospective new clients. Partner with internal specialists to connect clients across all lines of business at the Firm and to provide interdisciplinary expertise. Strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures. This position requires up to 40% domestic and international travel to various client sites.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Banker, Prospector, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following skills: articulating financial planning strategies and investment solutions to current and prospective high net worth clients in Brazil; private banking services including investments, mortgages, loans and trust and estates; constructing private banking client profiles and wealth portfolios based on current economic conditions; global practices within the private banking industry; cross-border banking regulations and laws applied to financial planning; creating presentations for clients using Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat PDF Pro; running portfolio analysis and financial modeling using Microsoft Excel; accessing economic news, financial market data/analytics, and price quotes using Thomson Reuters Eikon or Bloomberg Terminal; analyzing legal documents related to finance and estate planning in Brazil, in accordance with Brazilian laws and regulations; and Brazil history, culture, politics, and economics. This position requires oral, auditory, and written fluency in the Portuguese language.
Job Location: 390 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10017. This position requires up to 40% domestic and international travel to various client sites.
Full-Time. Salary: $160,000 - $160,000 per year
