Job Description

A Balance and Reconciliation Auditor provides inventory and account balancing support to Field operations. Additional responsibilities will include inventory/account reconciliation and reporting findings to all levels of the organization.

  • Creates and maintains appropriate balancing tools and reconciliation process for inventory management and reporting
  • Identify areas where controls and procedures can be improved in the balance/reconciliation efforts and propose countermeasures to reduce/eliminate out-of-balance conditions
  • Develop and maintain written operational procedures for all balancing and reconciliation processes and cross train to provide effective support to all team members
  • Obtaining/correcting/entering appropriate information for all inventory transactions
  • Excel spreadsheet creation and maintenance
  • Reconcile reporting to/from company/customers,
  • Performs data collection and analysis, in compliance with company requirements, to verify and reconcile currency/coin balances and reporting
  • Ensures processes are adhered to and proper action/corrective action is in place to resolve issues to mitigate risk and decrease customer impact and exposure
  • Coordinates weekly system’s reporting reviews with key Regional Leadership to plan/resolve response to balancing and reconciliation concerns for all inventories.
  • Researches and provides resolutions for system errors, reporting defects and company induced errors that cause out of balance conditions.

  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in accounting, cash processing, investigations or similar field
  • Ability to travel Nationally, on short notice, >90% of the time (travel requires ability to travel by air)
