The purpose of this role is to ensure the performance, security, and reliability of our systems and backup solutions.
You will be responsible for managing and monitoring the IT infrastructure, conducting system backups, and restoring data as necessary. Additionally, this position will involve optimising system performance and offering support to users across the organisation.
Working from our Sydney HQ, Sydney Olympic Park, on Wann-gal land, your role purpose will be -

Monitor backup systems to ensure data integrity and promptly resolve issues
-
Assist in developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Maintain documentation of system configurations and backup processes for IT reference

Generate reports on system performance and incidents for management review

Provide advanced technical support and ensure SLAs are met
-
Ensure core infrastructure operations with a strong customer focus
On day one in this role, we'll expect you to bring the following skills, experience and behaviours:

Proficiency in server operating systems (Windows, Linux) and backup solutions preferably netbackup
-
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., AWS,
Azure) -
Exposure to Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, ESX and Group Policy

Experience in Call management Systems leg service now

Strong communication and collaboration abilities for effective cross-functional teamwork

Exceptional customer focus and external relationship management

Relevant Tertiary qualifications

Must be eligible for Australian Defence Clearances
