(Senior) Software Engineer (Backend Operations)

We are a team to design, develop, maintain, and improve software for various ventures projects, i.e., projects that are adjacent to our core businesses and are bootstrapped fast with a lean team. You will be actively involved in the design of various components behind scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal administrative tools to facilitate daily operations.
• Maintain and improve diverse test environments to ensure reliability and stability for the Quality Assurance of the Crypto.com App.
• Communicate with our QA team to gather user requirements and feedback for the continuous enhancement of test environments and tools.
• Develop helper tools to facilitate the use of test environments.
• Understand our backend services and implement necessary changes to meet test environment requirements.
• Handle incidents within test environments to ensure continuous and smooth testing operations.

Requirement

• Proficiency in coding. Familiarity with 2 or more of the following languages is highly advantageous: Shell scripting, Ruby, Go, Java, Python, Typescript.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as we frequently encounter problems that are not well defined.
• Willingness to learn and a strong self-learning ability.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with different stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of Docker, AWS, Linux, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.
• Experience with QA processes, including an understanding of test case management, methodologies, and data preparation, is highly advantageous.
• Experience with DevOps is a plus.
