At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand multi-team administrative requirements and designing scalable solutions.
- Deliver great user experience to administrators by ideating and confirming tech feasibility of solution to manage large-scale enterprises..
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the team's domain as and when they arise, and being part of the team's rostered on-call rotation.
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices to innovate and improve the domain owned by the team.
You're probably a match
- You have experience writing production code in Java with disciplined coding practices, and experience with code reviews and pull requests. You model best practices to your peers.
- You have strong communication and team collaboration skills, both written and verbal. A Canva engineer strives to understand the exact problem before jumping into writing code.
- All of our services are built on AWS. While not required, commercial experience with AWS services like DynamoDB, and SNS/SQS is an advantage.

Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have a choice in where and how you work. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.
