About the Role
We are looking for a developer with experience in backend development, with languages such as java/kotlin, micro-services, unit testing and cloud (azure). You will collaborate with cross-teams to delivery high performance services, that processing millions dollars/monthly.
What you'll do
- Design, develop and maintain high-quality Java/Kotlin applications at the company.
- Develop best practices for the company and participate in code reviews with the team.
- Define application objectives and functionality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with organisational capabilities.
- Working with financial services.
What you'll need
- University degree in courses related to computing such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, and Systems Analysis and Development;
- Solid fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and problem solving;
- Experience with backend with strong skills in Java or Kotlin;
- Experience with RESTful services and micro-services;
- Advanced knowledge with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC) or similar;
- Good knowledge of design patterns and development best practices;
- Good knowledge of software testing concepts (unit and integration testing);
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Azure, etc.;
- Experience with Agile projects.
- Advanced communication skills in English (written and spoken);
- At least 3 years experience.
