WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Work on our data pipelines, scaling our data collection and high throughput processing jobs that power our analytics
• Build robust and scalable software in Ruby, Python, and C#
• Improve our code quality through designing resilient software architecture, code reviews, and scaling up test suites
• Work on a small team and take ownership of early stage, high impact projects
• Work in a fast paced environment with continuous deployment and rapid product iteration
• Understand how the futures of media, entertainment and advertising are being defined by the innovative applications of technology and data
• Learn about how a startup is built from an early stage

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• 4-8 years of software engineering experience
• Self-driven individuals who take ownership of their work
• Ability to build products quickly and efficiently
• Strong understanding of software engineering practices and principles
• Interpersonal and communication skills to work on a small team
• Willingness to learn about our clients, their unique problems, and how solve them
• Experience with any of the following is a plus
  • Batteries included, opinionated frameworks (Ruby on Rails, Django, Laravel)
  • RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB)
  • Background job frameworks (ActiveJob, Sidekiq, Celery, Hangfire)
  • Cloud hosting providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)

In compliance with New York and California Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $100,000 - 170,000. We note the salary information as a general guideline only, as actual compensation may vary from posting. We will consider various factors to determine the offer for this role, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work experience, key skills, training, and business considerations.
