Location: Dublin/Leeds/London

Overview of the role:

The B2B Account Executive is an exciting opportunity to help look after a group of B2B partners known as the Exchange Partners and will sit under the function of the BD Team in Flutter International. The Exchange Partners are a crucial customer set in terms of revenue and value to the Betfair Exchange. This role will report to the Senior Business Development Manager and support the growth and the value of these Exchange Partners and assist the BD team achieve their objectives. They will manage several operational processes concurrently, provide market feedback and data analysis to support the team execute commercial initiatives. They will also assist in the onboarding of new Exchange Partners from initial enquiry to go live. The role can be based in Dublin, Leeds or London and will be a hybrid between working in one of our modern office environments and working from home.

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

What you’ll do:

  • Build effective relationships with a variety of key internal stakeholders and managing processes that enable the team and Exchange Partner’s for success

  • Own processes to ensure SLAs are adhered to and ensuring tracking documents are up to date and can be shared at any time

  • Maintain and gather data, handling reporting activities through a range of regular and ad-hoc reports and being able to present this in a clear manner

  • Establish relationships with each Exchange Partner to offer first line support and to proactively escalate feedback when necessary

  • Work with relevant internal Flutter stakeholders on the audit process for the Exchange Partners to ensure they remain compliant, communicate the results internally to wider group and advising on efficiencies and future processes

  • Run contract documents as per the agreed processes, being able to manage the process to ensure swift conclusion

  • Ensure the B2B website is updated with relevant content from each area of the BD team and managing incoming enquiries

  • Lead as the first point of contact for incoming enquiries via the B2B website and then being able to quantify the opportunity and be proactive with the appropriate action

  • Represent Flutter International at trade shows, dealing with potential partner opportunities and creating necessary collateral for the BD team

  • Communicate and work with other departments to ensure that customer activity, while monitored adequately for fraud, is not adversely affected

  • Create PowerPoint presentation documents that help us develop further B2B sales opportunities

  • Proactively seeks feedback and opportunities to improve and learn, someone who is not afraid to ask questions if it ensures they are 100% clear on the expectations

  • Partnership centric individual that understands the needs of Exchange Partners and value they bring to the Exchange eco-system

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to prepare presentations and documents that ensure the audience is clear on its purpose, the problem being solved, actions and how success will be measured

  • A strong understanding or interest of the betting and gaming industry and the opportunities and challenges that it faces

  • Understanding of the mechanics of the Betfair Exchange

  • A self starter who can work independently and take responsibility for delivering projects under tight timeframes

  • Commercial acumen for key business drivers and account management/ customer service skills

  • Comfortable working within an ever-changing, high paced environment

  • Confidence to make own decisions and manage third party relationships

  • Ability to prioritise, organise and multi-task

  • Willingness to travel (conferences, client meetings)

  • Experience in Data Interpretation and excellent attention to detail

  • Level of understanding of Excel/ SQL/ Looker in order to create the their own data analysis
