Job Summary: 

We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Azure Cloud Architect/Lead with proven leadership experience and a strong technical background in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting and managing enterprise cloud environments on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. The ideal candidate will lead from the front, driving technical excellence, mentoring teams, and delivering robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.You will oversee cloud infrastructure initiatives, lead a team of skilled professionals, and collaborate across departments to ensure the efficient delivery of scalable and secure solutions that align with organizational goals As a senior role, extensive experience in technical delivery and leadership is essential. The candidate should possess exceptional customer-facing skills and the ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities;-
Azure Infrastructure Expertise

• Cloud Architecture Design: Develop and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure solutions to meet the organization's needs and ensure high availability and performance.
• Implementation and Management: Oversee deployment, configuration, and management of Azure resources, including virtual networks, virtual machines, storage, and databases.
• Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Automation and Optimization: Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep to ensure automation and scalability.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to security and compliance requirements, leveraging tools and frameworks for monitoring and risk mitigation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, IT operations, and business stakeholders to align cloud strategies with organizational objectives.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement robust monitoring solutions and troubleshoot performance issues to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of cloud configurations, workflows, and processes for operational transparency. Optimize and secure Azure environments, with a strong focus on Windows/Linux OS, Azure Active Directory (AAD), and Azure AD Connect.

Technical Leadership

• Serve as the technical authority for Azure infrastructure solutions, guiding teams through complex implementations.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Lead internal initiatives to identify and create service opportunities aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years in IT infrastructure, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior Azure Cloud Architect/Leadership role.
• Expertise in Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including VNet, VPN, load balancers, and firewalls.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Enterprise Scale Landing Zones.
• Experience with automation/orchestration tools such as Azure Automation and Runbooks.
• Knowledge of Azure PaaS, containers, App Services, REST APIs, and multi-cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud solutions, including Microsoft Azure Stack Hub.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification.
