Azure Cloud Architect - As an Azure Cloud Architect, you will be expected to execute the company’s Azure Cloud strategy. Azure cloud architect roles and responsibilities involve developing, implementing, and overseeing Azure-based solutions. Collaborating with other teams, the architect will aim to ensure the resilience, security, and optimal performance of the Azure infrastructure. Leveraging their deep knowledge of Azure services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies, and industry-leading cloud practices, the candidate will lead our cloud technology processes. Your analytical problem-solving abilities, technical prowess, and strategic foresight will be instrumental in steering our success in the cloud technology era.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, building, and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Azure
• Identifying appropriate use of Azure operational best practices and architectural design patterns
• Conducting systems plan studies and system modeling, performance and capacity analysis
• Estimating cost and identifying cost control mechanisms for Azure cloud-based resources
• Migrating complex, multi-tier applications on Azure
• Implementing and controlling the flow of data to and from Azure
• Selecting the appropriate Azure service based on data, compute, database, or security requirements
• Integrating Azure services with on-premises networks, as required
• Maintaining knowledge of latest Azure updates and improvements to provide optimal solutions
• Design and manage virtual networks, subnets, VNet peering, and network security configurations in Azure.
• Implement and manage ExpressRoute, VPNs, and other connectivity solutions.
• Monitor and optimize network performance and reliability.
• Implement and maintain network security with NSG and other firewall solutions.
• Implement hub-and-spoke and mesh network architectures.
• Providing expertise and architectural assistance to other IT personnel, including software developers and systems engineers
• Oversee cloud operations, including provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud resources.
• Automate cloud infrastructure and deployment processes using tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Bicep.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities for cloud solutions.
• Designing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies on Azure cloud
• Implementing Azure security and compliance measures

Qualifications:

• Exemplary command of Microsoft Azure services and solutions
• Experience in crafting cloud architectures with efficiency and scalability
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates) for efficient resource provisioning
• In-depth understanding: Cloud security principles, best practices, and compliance standards
• Knowledge of Azure networking, virtual networks, and VPN configurations
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud strategies and cloud migration methodologies
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex cloud issues.
• Communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• In-depth understanding of cloud architecture styles and design patterns.
• Proven experience in developing cloud migration strategies, defining migration roadmaps, and providing accurate estimates.
• Proficiency with Azure Resource Manager, Resource Groups, Virtual Networks, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, PowerShell DSC, Azure Automation, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Site Recovery.
• Hands-on experience in developing and deploying Cloud Native Applications utilizing Azure PaaS Capabilities such as App Services Plans, Key Vault, SQL Azure DB, Azure Functions, Containers, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Integration Technologies such as BizTalk, Azure API Management, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
• Analytical and technical problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
• Proven experience in implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms for applications using Azure Active Directory (AD) and OAuth.
• Familiarity with claims-based authentication standards (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), and Role-based Access Control (RBAC).
• Proficiency in setting up monitoring and diagnostics on Azure for web applications.
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages: C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Experience with Azure Governance and Best Practices, Azure Architect Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), networking architectures, cost management controls, and other Azure governance principles.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $190,000/Yr. 
Our pay structure takes into account various geographical markets within the United States. The base salary for this role reflects the typical expected earnings. However, the final compensation package is determined by several factors, such as your location, job-specific expertise, skills, experience, and other relevant job-related considerations.
