We are looking for you, if you:
- Worked with PowerShell, Webservices, C# and Azure resources like Azure App Service (API), Logic Apps (Orchestration), Azure Key Vault (Secret Management), Azure Service Bus (Queue Management),
- Design, develop, execute and maintain runbooks that automate workloads and processes. You can deliver according to the quality criteria and company standards and give the go-ahead for release to production,
- Take responsibility for development and (automated) testing of the created runbooks,
- Document the developed runbooks based on the company standards,
- Make recommendations to improve runbook reliability, auditability and maintainability,
- Work collaboratively within a team of other engineers and demonstrate strong teamwork,
- Interested to design and build continuous deployment pipelines,
- Can troubleshoot and debug Azure infrastructure issues,
- Have experience in creating functional & technical documents and define infrastructure guidelines.
You’ll get extra points for:
- Working in an agile environment,
- Experience in designing and develop RESTfull API,
- Knowledge on specific Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams) and how to manage an automated platform to manage these services,
- Microsoft certification in one of the following domains: Azure Fundamentals, Azure Data Engineering, Azure Administration,
- Familiarity with ServiceNow,
- Data Engineering or Data Science background,
- Knowledge of Workplace Services or Service Management processes,
- The ability to proactively introduce improvements and innovations,
- Ability to find alternative solutions,
- Attention to details,
- Being open-minded person, eager to learn, face new challenges and develop cooperation with colleagues from other ING Group units.

- Analyzing business requirements,
- Develop new automation runbooks,
- Maintaining existing runbooks and resolve issues,
- Improve & develop of automation platform and integration,
- Preparing status reports.
Information about the squad:
In your role as Automation DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for crating, maintain, and improving runbooks, pipelines, and deployment server to support ING Global Workplace Services to manage and stay in control of the Microsoft 365 services. Furthermore, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new automation solutions with Configuration as Code, framing guidelines for use, and developing Azure automations and solution deployments where needed. You will be part of an IT DevOps team.
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer IV”.
