As the AWS Senior Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales SME, and Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and managing the foundational infrastructure on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. This role requires expertise in AWS architecture, pre-sales technical proposal development, and service delivery across various domains, including AWS Infrastructure, Enterprise Application Hosting, Migrations, Managed Services, Technical Support, and Security.
You will lead a team of skilled professionals, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud-based infrastructures while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support technological growth and innovation.
During project delivery, you will oversee technical teams, ensuring alignment with AWS standards and best practices to drive successful project execution.
RequirementsEducation & Certifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- AWS certifications such as:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
- AWS Certified Security/Networking Specialty (or equivalent).
Experience & Technical Skills
- 15+ years of relevant experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and technical leadership.
- Extensive experience in AWS infrastructure design, deployment, and management.
- Strong understanding of on-premises data centers, cloud architecture principles, and infrastructure best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform.
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong background in security, compliance, and AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Experience with cloud cost optimization, performance tuning, and scalability strategies.
- Pre-sales experience with a strong understanding of proposal development and client engagement.
- Experience in technical support, training, and capacity building.

Responsibilities1. Solution Architecture & Design
- Design and implement enterprise-grade cloud-based solutions on AWS.
- Create technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and high/low-level designs.
- Ensure alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework, security, and compliance standards.
- Optimize AWS solutions for cost efficiency, scalability, and performance.
2. Technical Leadership & Team Management
- Lead a team of solution architects and cloud engineers.
- Provide technical mentorship, guidance, and best practice recommendations.
- Stay updated with AWS advancements and ensure team adoption of latest AWS services and tools.
3. Customer Engagement & Pre-Sales Support
- Work with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into AWS solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) sessions.
- Support sales teams by preparing and delivering technical proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Position AWS solutions effectively against competitors in cloud architecture and migration.
4. Project Delivery & Implementation
- Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of AWS resources.
- Ensure adherence to AWS security best practices, compliance frameworks, and governance policies.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation/Terraform for automation.
- Drive DevOps adoption and streamline operational processes.
5. Security, Compliance & Risk Management
- Implement security best practices across AWS infrastructure.
- Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity planning for AWS workloads.
6. Cost Optimization & Performance Tuning
- Monitor AWS usage and optimize resources to reduce operational costs.
- Implement best practices to enhance performance and scalability.
- Conduct periodic architecture reviews to improve system efficiency.
7. Knowledge Sharing & Training
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and technical knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Encourage team members to pursue AWS certifications and skill enhancement.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, SOPs, and best practices guides.
8. Vendor & Partner Collaboration
- Establish and manage relationships with AWS representatives and technology partners.
- Stay updated on AWS product roadmaps and upcoming feature releases.
