Work Location: Remote Canada/USA

As an AWS Connect Specialist at Quantiphi, you will be at the forefront of building and managing cutting-edge contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and related AWS services. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing scalable, secure, and efficient contact center environments, driving automation through CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring robust architectures that support business continuity.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the deployment and management of AWS Connect instances across both production and non-production environments. Utilize CI/CD pipelines to enhance automation, efficiency, and operational excellence.

  • Design and implement high-availability, disaster recovery, and resilient global architectures leveraging AWS services to ensure business continuity and performance optimization.

  • Ensure secure access and management through in-depth knowledge of AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM). Implement and maintain strict security controls using IAM policies, roles, and permissions.

  • Apply AWS encryption services to safeguard data in transit and at rest, adhering to best practices for data protection.

  • Optimize storage using AWS services such as S3, EFS, and Glacier, balancing performance, cost efficiency, and scalability to meet business needs.

  • Hands-on experience with automation tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitLab, integrating them into the AWS ecosystem to streamline operations.

  • Proficiency with tools like AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, or the ELK Stack to monitor AWS Connect environments and ensure system performance and reliability.

  • Familiarity with DevOps principles, promoting continuous integration and deployment within AWS environments.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in independently managing and executing large-scale AWS Connect deployments within enterprise environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve technical challenges effectively, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify and convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

  • A collaborative team player with experience in cross-functional teams, fostering cooperation and achieving shared objectives.

  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to their technical development.

  • Meticulous approach in developing scenarios for test cases, ensuring thorough testing and validation.

Certifications & Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

  • AWS Certifications:

    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional 

    • AWS Certified Security - Specialty
