Job Description
- Execute testing strategies across various software applications, focusing on API, web, and mobile platforms.
- Utilize expertise in API testing with tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar to validate RESTful services and JSON/XML-based APIs.
- Conduct in-depth application testing to identify usability, functionality, and performance issues across web.
- Perform load testing and performance benchmarking using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, K6 or similar, ensuring applications meet performance standards.
- Develop and execute test automation scripts with C# for APIs and applications to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Understand network protocols, HTTP methods, and status codes critical for API testing and performance evaluation.
- Design comprehensive test plans and cases, including load testing scenarios for complex software applications.
- Engage with CI/CD processes, utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar, for seamless integration of testing into the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development teams to diagnose and resolve issues, using strong problem-solving skills.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in software testing, especially in API and application testing domains, to refine testing strategies.
Qualifications
Expectations – the experience you need
- Minimum 2 years of commercial experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in C#, deep understanding of object-oriented programming, and good programming practices.
- Knowledge of test automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline practices, integrating test automation into the software delivery lifecycle.
- Solid understanding of QA development techniques and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to work on UI testing automation.
- A strong ownership mindset with the ability to take responsibility for the quality and completeness of the testing process.
- Demonstrates an Agile mindset, with experience in Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English at a minimum B2 level.

- The ISTQB TAE certification is a strong asset for those aiming to take on this test automation role, where both technical skills and strategic thinking are essential.
- A demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
- An open-minded and proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Strong communicative skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
