The selected candidate will be responsible for defining and enhancing the standards of machinery applicable to the Engineering Design function across all manufacturing areas. Additionally, they will be tasked with improving reliability and ensuring equipment durability by adhering to the defined maintenance strategy, including criticality assessments, while optimizing costs. Furthermore, the role includes training and disseminating knowledge and competencies related to maintenance actions.
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
- Ensure compliance with machine technical documentation and associated instructions, including safety, quality, response procedures, and backup protocols.
- Execute and apply maintenance instructions, such as setting, commissioning, adjustment, and calibration.
- Maintain the existence and relevance of technical analyses, maintenance plans, and obsolescence plans.
- Enhance the efficiency of assistance interventions by responding effectively to operational maintenance demands, addressing breakdowns, and implementing corrective action plans to prevent recurring issues.
- Control technical parameters, specifically Machine Technical Parameters (MTP) for the process.
- Improve efficiency by enhancing machine availability, reliability, and performance.
- Develop maintenance skills through tutoring, coaching, training materials, assistive devices, and 'one-point lessons.'
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Automation/Electrical engineering, preferably as a project leader or support.
- Proficiency in PLC programming standards and software, with experience in Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and Siemens being advantageous.
- Expertise in HMI configuration, programming, and communication, particularly with Rockwell.
- Experience with Variable Frequency drives and Motion Control technologies, including Rockwell, Siemens, and Control Techniques.
- Skilled in robotics maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of industry trends, regulations, and standards.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and their operation is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Teams).
