We have a comprehensive end-to-end automation infrastructure developed by two teams (Israel and India), and we aim to elevate it to a world-class level.
We are seeking a 4G/5G Automation Team Lead to drive this initiative forward.
The Automation Team Lead responsibilities will include:
- Build and manage a global team of 8-10 test engineers for 4G/5G end-to-end CI and automation activities
- Yearly and quarterly capacity planning and work plans
- Hands-on technical management
- Budget planning
- System design and architecture
- Review the code and design of the Automation Infra engineers
- Collection and integration of requirements from the entire R&D org
- Definition of big building blocks and major enhancements
- Mentorship & training to teammates and conduct training to other R&D members for ongoing improvement and use of correct tools and methodologies
- Review current architecture and tests flows to optimize them (duration, complexity, robustness, etc.)
- Optimize and consolidate future requirements and enhancements
- Drive new tools/approaches/methodologies to the automation infra/team members
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in Automation infrastructure and at least 3+ of them as a team manager
- Experience in operating, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
- Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and networking (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, network topologies) – must
- Experience in one or more of the following: Python, pytest and shell scripting – must
- Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with a sense of ownership and drive
- Effectively communicates in a dynamic and fast-paced team
- Excellent familiarity with automation solutions and tools
- Experience with building automation frameworks and infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Highly proactive - introducing new tools and technologies.
- Experience in CICD/Automation - big advantage
- Experience in operating K8s-based and cloud-native deployments – big advantage
- Knowledge in cellular networks – big advantage
Education:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
