The Role

Alleima invites you to bring your expertise to our dynamic team, you'll play a critical role in enhancing our manufacturing processes. We are seeking a dedicated professional to maintain, evaluate, and enhance our PLCs, process equipment, and various controllers. The role includes but is not limited to,

  • PLC Programming & Maintenance: Expertly maintain, evaluate, improve, and program PLCs, process equipment, and various controllers.
  • Mechanical & Automation Integration: Collaborate on mechanical applications and their automation relationships to optimize performance.
  • System Analysis & Improvement: Analyze current manufacturing systems and develop innovative solutions to enhance product quality, throughput, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Technical Problem Resolution: Coordinate with electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and integrated control systems to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Process Improvement Implementation: Implement process improvements and controls on existing equipment and spearhead the development of new technology across the facility.
  • Project Management: Develop and maintain automation project schedules, tracking costs and budgets to meet project goals and objectives within set timelines.

About you

You are a visionary engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field from an ABET accredited college or university, or you have extensive experience working with industrial PLC controllers, industrial electronics, VFDs, PLCs, motor starters, and automation controls.

You excel at performing system upgrades and installations in a manufacturing environment and are adept at troubleshooting both programming and electrical issues with manufacturing equipment and controls. Your expertise includes working knowledge of industrial voltages ranging from 120VAC single phase to 480VAC three phase, as well as low voltage signal wires, and experience working in electrical cabinets with high voltage potential.

You are proficient in reading and creating electrical schematics/blueprints, and have a solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and the integration of machine controls. You are not just an engineer; you are a problem-solver and an innovator.

Your background in industrial environments equips you with hands-on experience and a deep understanding of Siemens Step 7 and TIA Portal Programming, Siemens Sinamics Servo Drives and VFD’s, Siemens Starter Software and Allen Bradley equipment and programming.
