What you will do
· Build a robust and scalable automation framework for testing antenna systems, RF front end and 5G/4G communication stack.
· Automate the test execution including control and configuration of test equipment.
· Innovate tools that enable more frequent and reliable software deployment, test execution, and data analysis as part of a continuous integration and release system.
· Evaluate different tools and systems to select the most effective and scalable options including custom solutions and scripts.
· Build frameworks to document test plans, test cases, test scripts, test results and dashboards to maintain clear and comprehensive records.
· Maintain and update test management tools and version control systems to ensure smooth and efficient test operations.
· Work with external vendors to procure components and equipment necessary to build test systems.
· Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams – hardware, software, mechanical, systems, etc. – in different time-zones to ensure test systems keep up with changing requirements.
What you bring to this role
· Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or STEM discipline.
· Proven experience building custom automation frameworks at scale.
· 3+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell. Proficiency in python.
· Knowledge of C/C++, SQL, or other database tools.
· Extensive knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
· Experience in integrating 3rd party APIs into automation framework.
· Experience with test equipment (e.g., power supplies, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meters, vector network analyzer).
· Extensive knowledge with a range of digital and analog interfaces including GPIB, USB, VISA, etc.
· Experience with containerization technologies (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes).
· Experience in any Public cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP).
· Familiarity with TCP/IP networking concepts: Routing, Switching, VLAN.
· Knowledge of configuration management and version control software.
· Experience with performance testing, load testing, regression testing, ageing tests, etc.
· Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
· Flexible, responsive, and collaborative with an ability to work at a fast-paced startup environment.
· Strong analytical and communication skills. Teamplayer.
Bonus points for the following
· Knowledge of RF transceiver and antenna measurements.
· Understanding of wireless communications principles.
· Satellite, aerospace, or related industry experience.
