Job Description:

Audit Senior Staff with Crowe, LLP (Austin, TX)

Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to prepare financial statements, give advice, or audit and evaluate statements prepared by others. Install or advise on systems of recording costs or other financial and budgetary data. Runs client engagements from start to finish, including all aspects of financial statement preparation, internal staffing of engagements, project scheduling and budgeting, planning of the engagement, and related administrative functions. Supervises, trains, and mentors staff and interns on audit process and assess performance of staff for engagement reviews. Maintains an outstanding relationship with clients to increase customer happiness and working with client management and staff at all levels to perform audit services. Researches and analyzes financial statements and audit issues using electronic databases, and employing audit software to review and compile financial information. Engages with key client management to collect information, resolve audit-related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree in Accounting or related fields. Position requires 1 year experience in job offered or closely related occupation. Position requires experience in: GAAP, GAAS and IFRS; CaseWare; Electronic confirmation tools; Single audit and Yellow Book; Audit planning through report draft; Financial Statement Audit and Preparation; and Cash Flow Analysis.

Also requires a valid Certified Public Accountancy (CPA) license.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $63,500.00 - $142,000.00 per year.
