Your Role:
This role is to play an important pro-active part in supporting product management exercise in Invesco’s global product ranges offered to retail, private bank, pension and institutional clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in project management of the entire Product Management cycle(including planning, coordination between stakeholders, hosting working group meetings, reviewing and providing comments on notices and changes in offering/constitutive documents, approving offering materials for printing and any post-launch services) to ensure timely completion of the product management cycle(corporate actions) or documentation updates across the global and local product ranges.
- Drive and lead fund registration of both standard and complex products with regulators in various jurisdictions in HK/Korea / S.E.A. / PRC .
- Pro-actively reach out to overseas product owners/stakeholders to entrench AP into the product governance process of institutional products for HK / Korea / S.E.A. / PRC.
- Support the AP institutional and retail products governance process (such as pricing, operational model, dividend, fund risk rating) and assess the potential risks/opportunities of new initiatives.
- Ensure the right version of the fund documents are printed and delivered to distributors and posted on Invesco’s websites; which includes: (a)proofreading /checking and liaising with printers the ready-to-go documents. (b)facilitate discussion between sales support team and printer on delivery.
- liaise with Hyderabad supporting team on website posting. Acting as AP’s information hub for product management/corporate action activities and disseminate information, update documents to relevant stakeholders. If required, host briefing sessions with stakeholders to explain the changes/corporate action.
- Maintain proper records of product changes and corporate actions, and product line management over the life cycle of each product (ongoing product maintenance);
- Observe any internal policies and controls during the product management process.
- Support Sales/RFP/Product Marketing team to source solutions for distributors/FAQ/RFP;
- Manage ad hoc projects as assigned.
The Experience You Bring:
- University degree major in Accounting, Economics, Business or Finance related subjects.
- CFA charter holder or CFA candidate will be a plus.
- 2+ years’ experience in financial industry, ideally in the area of mutual fund product management, compliance or operations etc.
- Knowledge of the asset management business, regulations (SFC Unit Trust Code, UCITS directives and MPF regulations) and investment products is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and writing skills (in English and Chinese)
- Proficiency in using MS office.
- A team player with good interpersonal and project management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates initiative and accountability.
- Self-motivated with good learning agility
