We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Associate to join our high-performing advisory team. As we continue to experience significant growth, the successful candidate will support senior advisers in the areas of investment operations, technology systems and analysis. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of exceptional client outcomes and the provision of quality advice in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Your Responsibilities:

Support advisers in executing investment strategies and prepare reports including performance statements, risk assessments and portfolio summaries for Family Offices and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients.

Prepare and manage monthly and quarterly reporting requirements for Family Offices and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients.

Understand the advice framework, leveraging technology and systems and using compliance and governance to enhance business outcomes

Execute trade orders and investment transactions

Developing presentations, investment proposals and new business pitch material for Family Offices and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients

Lead client driven research matters ranging from macro-economic, thematic or stock specific

Utilise internal communications as a foundation to produce investment advice updates and provide editing

Analyse situations and make logical, commercial decisions that contribute to the ongoing success of the business, its people, clients and stakeholders

Onboarding of Family Offices and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients, account opening and day-to-day administration and maintenance of portfolios.

Proactive client management ensuring that annual reviews, updates of risk profile and expiring documentation are carried out by your team in a timely manner.

Assist with compliance and regulatory reporting obligations internally and managing team adherence

Provide effective and timely management of settlement obligations including funds and/or securities due, margin calls, asset transfers, cash transfers; corporate action management; facilitation of order execution and quote requests as required; IPO and placement coordination.

Liaise with Operations team to coordinate cash and stock transfers, corporate actions, and international trading execution.

Assist in servicing Family Offices and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) client accounts by researching routine problems and assisting with queries, identifying errors, listening to the needs of clients and, with approval, initiating corrections.

Assist in preparing information for Investment Adviser prior to meetings, follow up with Adviser post meeting and update where necessary.

Regular liaison with clients, Advisers, and other key stakeholders including Operations, Investment Solutions, Financial Planning & Wealth Management Provide a wide range of administrative support including data entry, photocopying, email management and general clerical duties.

Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence.

Maintain client files within Avaloq ensuring any updates are managed with clients and Operations and maintaining manual records as required.

Provide overall telephone assistance to the Investment Advisers, answering incoming calls and taking messages.

Assist in coordination of client functions and marketing events in conjunction with the Business Manager and Event Manager.

Provide team-oriented support to other Adviser Assistants and the National Adviser Assistant Manager as required.

Provide ad hoc coverage for the reception area.
Requirements

Degree qualified in Finance or related disciplines
-
RG146 accreditation or equivalent (or willingness to work quickly towards obtaining the qualification)
Your skills and experience

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within Wealth Management sector

Anti-Money Laundering / Know Your Client experience an advantage
