As a member of our engineering team, you will develop large-scale applications. You will ensure that software functionality is implemented with a focus on code optimization. You will be involved in the designing and architecture digital projects.

Role Responsibilities

  •  Work on innovative, actionable, and efficient technology solutions to drive Microservices development using Java Spring Boot framework and other API enhancements on the middleware platforms for the assigned region.
  • Demonstrate strong capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.
  • Execute to success through diligent planning, attention to detail, effective delegation, and efficient decision-making.
  • Interface and collaborate with other engineers in geographically distributed development centers.
  • Strong emphasis on customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development
  • Develop technical & domain expertise and apply in solving product challenges.
  • Thorough code reviews
  • Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out applications with cross-functional and cross-regional impacts.
  • Share engineering support and release.
  • Be a culture champion on the team and across the company.

Role Requirements 

  • 4+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot framework, Couchbase DB or other similar NoSQL databases.
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming language - Strong Concepts on OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling.
  • Strong hands-on experience in building applications using Java, SpringBoot Framework, APIs (REST/SOAP), Kafka, Cassandra, or similar Database.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Service - AWS is an added advantage.
  • Knows Java build tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), EE components, testing tools, application containers, and markup languages.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, software security principles and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough testing (writing JUnits/Mocking frameworks), debugging, and troubleshooting of software components to ensure reliability and accuracy.
  • Experience in end-to-end Development and / or Implementation and / or Support activities.
  • Writes software documentation guides.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional, and technical teams.
  • Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaborates with coworkers and has strong verbal and written communication skills, relationship-building, and cooperation skills.
  • Experience in Banking Systems, Fintechs and its integrations a plus.
