Position Summary

This position is responsible for developing and executing tests on new and existing products to ensure that they meet the requisite functional, technical, and regulatory compliance and maintain high overall product quality. Responsible for having an understanding of the software test methodologies and procedures in order to ensure testing efficiency and high level of quality.

Essential Job Functions:
• Develop and execute test plans and test scripts for new and existing game themes and operating systems
• Follow all of the SQA Work Instructions on a daily basis
• Submit, track, and assist with escalation, if needed, any product issues found during testing to ensure that they are resolved
• Utilize all required databases for SQA functions and testing
• Provide input to the weekly project status report for each assigned project
• Provide detailed Completion Report at the end of each project
• Interface with other members of Product Development in order to effectively communicate and assist with resolution of all reported issues in a timely manner before the gaming product is released
• Understanding of software test methodologies/procedures and the overall product development lifecycle
• Reproduce issues, when necessary, in order to assist software development in resolving issues

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist the SQA Department on special projects
• Introduce process improvement initiatives
• Establish key contacts with upstream organizations that have a direct impact on SQA

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Academic and/or working knowledge of Visual Studio

• Academic and/or work experience with C and/or C++
• Academic and/or working knowledge of Linux/Unix/Windows
• Academic and/or proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Automation experience a plus

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred

Required Experience:
0 - 1 year of relevant SQA work experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Working knowledge of computer operation and principles of computer hardware
• Basic knowledge of real-time embedded systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with other team members
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Detail-oriented and organized

Physical Requirements:
Stand for long periods of time
Extensive time in front of LCD’s and Electronic Gaming Machine screens
Repetitive motion to open heavy Electronic Gaming Machine doors

Ability to work on multiple projects with several stakeholders at the same time
Ability to move between projects with little notice and ability to adapt quickly
Overtime and weekend hours may be required to meet project schedules
Limited travel may be required
