Position Summary

The Associate Software Engineer will develop and maintain custom software solutions for large worldwide manufacturing operation. The role of the Software Engineer is to create scalable software solutions for new products and platforms as well as support existing ones in a timely manner through the entire development lifecycle.

        

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:  

  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to coding, unit testing, debugging, writing documentation, and interacting directly with internal customers.W
  • Write, implement and support custom computer software applications used for internal systems.
  • Utilize computer software applications for the monitoring and trouble shooting of any system issues. 
  • Develop interfaces between other in-house and 3rd party applications. 
  • Respond to technical needs and questions.
  • Produce detailed accurate documentation of any installations and/or configurations. 
  • Assist in the planning, execution and maintenance of installations and equipment relocations. 
  • Perform system configuration and setup as necessary 
  • Provide overall systems support as necessary, scheduled work after hours on a 24/7 basis. 

 

Position Requirements: 

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience .
  • 1+ years experience with software development, testing and trouble shooting. 
  • Experience with networked application development between multiple sites 
  • Experience with Web based application development including MVC, PHP, html. 
  • Experience and education in Windows development environment, primarily C#, C/C++, and SQL Server.  
  • Must be a self-starter, capable of working with minimum supervision and be able to communicate effectively with various personnel and levels having a wide range of skills. 
  • Possess excellent attention to detail. 
  • Good communication skills. 

Qualifications

Education/Years of Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ years experience with software development, testing and trouble shooting.
