Roles and responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP solutions based on the solution architect's and lead engineer's design, while also supporting successful implementation and transition to the application support team.
• Work as part of the SAP Technical Team and help the senior members understand business pain points, provide insight to enhance the development pipelines, and provide design solutions for integrating other non-SAP applications.
• Be at the forefront of exploring new SAP technologies, be a quick learner willing to learn new technologies and methodologies and maintain current knowledge of industry trends and standards.
• builds and maintains a solid understanding of the application areas and the business areas.
• Collaborate and contribute with senior developers of the product team or development team(s) for targeted outcomes.
• Support the product owner by ensuring code quality and following best practices.
• Good communication skills are required, as the job requires a high degree of verbal and written communication.
• Be highly motivated, hardworking, and possess good time management skills.
• Exposure to delivering projects in an Agile framework
• SAP certifications in their specialty area would be advantageous.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• 3– years of core SAP ABAP development experience
• A bachelor's or master's degree is required, or equivalent experience.
• experienced in developing solutions in one of the modules: FICA, BRIM, MM, RAR, FI, SD (S/4 HANA and ECC)
• 1–3 full-lifecycle SAP implementation projects

• Experience in designing and developing interfaces using ABAP proxies, OData, IDocs, BAPIs, and AIF
• Experience with ALV Reports, Flexible Workflows, Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, ,
• Experience in consuming or exposing web services (i.e., SOAP, REST)
• Experience in classical and kernel BADI's, BTE's, substitution and validations, and other enhancement frameworks

• Experience and knowledge in developing HANA-based artifacts like CDS views, table functions, and AMDP
• Knowledge of the RESTful ABAP Programming (RAP) model
• Experience with Upgrade projects, Support Pack applications, SPAU, SPDD, SPAU_ENH resolutions, and OSS note applications
• It is a huge plus if you can develop, architect, and manage Fiori applications based on the ABAP stack and technologies like SAP UI5, HTML5, Fiori, ABAP, OData, and Java-script.
• Experience developing and troubleshooting large-scale custom FIORI-based applications

• Experience in conventional workflow and BRF+
• It is good to have knowledge and experience in enterprise extensibility, like in-app extensibility and side-by-side extension.
• It is good to have knowledge and experience in building scalable applications over SAP BTP using RAP or CAP.
