The Role
The Associate Sales Engineer (ASE) is an entry level role within the NuHarbor Security Sales team. The ASE supports the sales team by providing technical expertise and pre-sales support to current and prospective clients. The ASE works closely with our sales representatives to understand client needs, demonstrate NuHarbor’s value proposition, and assists in closing deals. This is an entry level role into the NuHarbor Security Sales team.

- Develop a deep understanding of our cybersecurity products, solutions, and services, staying up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements. Leverage this knowledge to effectively communicate and demonstrate the value of our offerings to clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential leads.
- Assist in preparing and delivering statements of work (SOWs).
- Engage with clients to understand their specific needs and challenges, acting as a trusted advisor, building credibility, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication, knowledge sharing, and alignment of goals.
- Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity news and market/industry trends.
- Learn new products and technologies on a self-directed basis and complete vendor/industry certifications.
Your foundation. The requirements for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field and 1 year of professional experience in a technology-related field.
- In lieu of a degree, 2 years of experience in a technology-related field.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and technologies such as network security, endpoint protection, encryption, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.
- Demonstrable technical aptitude to learn our products and solutions.
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and consistently exceeding client expectations.
- Ability to be receptive to feedback and coaching and demonstrate the ability to implement improvements based on that guidance.
- Must be a citizen of the United States.
Additional capabilities that will differentiate you for this role:
- Ability to effectively present technical material to small and large groups.
- Possess a solid understanding of web applications, security, and Network.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SSL, Web Applications, Load balancers, proxies and firewalls.
