Associate Quality Assurance Engineer for Supply Chain Finance

We are looking for an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer to join our scrum teams within Supply Chain Finance division ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions to our clients and working closely with cross-functional Scrum teams through the process.

A Day in the Life of an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer at Qualco will include:

• Participate actively in scrum ceremonies to estimate, prioritize and plan test activities;
• Review user stories and acceptance criteria to develop effective test plans in collaboration with the development team;
• Ensure business requirements testability by reviewing specifications and technical design documents;
• Prepare detailed Test Cases and execute manual testing to verify functional and non-functional business requirements and confirm that system meets customer expectations;
• Design and implement automated scripts to cover functional and regression scenarios;
• Execute the automated test suite and review test results;
• Communicate own progress and escalate issues in a timely manner;
• Record, follow-up and close identified defects when resolved;
• Maintain test documentation including test cases, scripts, and manuals;
• Support customer User Acceptance Testing (Issues tracking, resolution and re-testing);
• Contribute to our On Time/On Budget/On Quality success story;
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer science, Engineering, or related field;
• Possess a firm command of both the Greek and English language (oral and written);
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Software Quality Assurance with adaptability to various testing methodologies;
• Strong Communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within a scrum team;
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address issues independently and effectively;
• Understanding of continuous integration and delivery;
• Experience with black box testing techniques;

• Desire to grow in areas of expertise as needed by the evolving needs and goals of the company.
  
  Technical Skills

• Knowledge of MS Office and basic DB queries;
• Skilled in the utilization of tools like Postman and soapUI for testing REST and SOAP Web services;
• Experience working with Webdriver,Robotframework,Selenium,GitLab or equivalent tools and technologies is required;
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence in and test management tool (Zephyr) would be considered a plus;
• ISTQB Foundation certificate in Software Testing is advantageous but not required.
