We care deeply about our customers and foster a culture where our company, employees, and Pros grow and succeed together. • A culture built on innovation that values big ideas, no matter where they come from

Role Overview:

As Associate Product Manager you own a feature, or a set of features within a product area. You work closely with leadership to determine strategy, set priorities, develop the roadmap, and deliver products. You partner alongside cross-functional teams to help shape and define requirements that champion our service providers and lead us closer to achieving our product vision. Paired with support and guidance from our Product and Engineering leaders, you deliver features and successfully roll out new products & enhancements that will have a direct impact on Housecall Pro’s growth trajectory. You are smart, curious, adaptable, empathetic, and motivated to make a big impact on the customers we serve and the people we work with.

As Associate Product Manager of Risk, you will work closely with the broader Risk Product and Risk Operations organizations to power the next generation of our risk systems. Our team is passionate, empathetic, hard working, and above all else focused on improving the lives of our service professionals (our Pros). Our success is their success.

What you do each day:

  • Transform how our customers are introduced to our Fintech and Business Solutions products through continuous experimentation
  • Uncover insights about how our users think and act
  • Create hypotheses for strategies to drive product adoption
  • Devise quick, creative solutions to test your hypotheses
  • Collaboratively design event models and user flows, introducing innovative ways to represent the customer journey
  • Work with Design and Engineering to develop wireframes
  • Plan and oversee the entire process from the initial idea through to its final implementation, making sure every step is well thought out and executed
  • Develop clear plans to measure how successful your experiments are, ensuring you can track progress and make necessary adjustments
  • Clearly explain your plans to your team and other functions to make sure everyone is on the same page

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in product management
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience using ‘growth stack’ tools a plus (i.e. Amplitude, Segment, Braze, Launch Darkly and others that enable product managers to rapidly experiment and measure results)
  • (Bonus) Experience in fraud detection, operations, and/or underwriting

What will help you succeed:

  • Passionate about user experience and deep customer empathy
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to think and operate at high and low altitudes and lead multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Excellent collaborator and communicator, both written and verbal, enabling you to engage and inspire teams and stakeholders
  • Forward thinker with a passion for solving complex problems with innovative, simple ideas
  • Genuine humility paired with a growth mindset that drives you to learn, investigate, and ask the “why”
