Meet the team:

Dexcom is seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Product Manager within product management, to drive product development and execution of new applications of Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM).

Where you come in:

  • Strategic Vision - Define roadmap for new application(s) taking into account segments' needs and business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a central liaison, integrating insights from various clinical, technical, marketing, and regulatory partners to refine product specifications and strategies.
  • Development Initiation & Oversight: Own the development of new product development of each new application, integrating Marketing and Design insights throughout the process.
  • Concept Definition: Formulate comprehensive business case & requirements and narratives, catering to a wide range of collaborators including end-users and business partners.
  • Technical Understanding: Have a strong grasp of technical aspects of hardware and software platforms to effectively communicate and influence core teams.
  • Metrics and Analysis: Analyze relevant internal and external data to advise decisions about future development and improvements.
  • Ecosystem Management: Coordinate project timelines across multiple teams, synchronizing efforts across marketing, commercial, and engineering domains.
  • Market Research: Partner with internal MR and UR to conduct extensive market and user research to advise platform development, positioning Dexcom as a leader in the industry.
  • Brand Alignment: Embed the Dexcom brand's vision and values into the development process, maintaining solid understanding of product use cases.

What makes you successful:

  • You have a proven track record of developing and commercializing new products, for current or new markets.
  • You translate strategic goals into actionable product development plans with strong cross-functional teamwork and intimate understanding of customer needs.
  • You define products and their requirements, that deliver across multiple customer segments and fulfill the business goals.
  • You identify market needs, develop business cases, and plan for what enables successful product launches.
  • You have experience in leading market and user research to define and prioritize product features and requirements.
  • You have the technical acumen to understand current and future technologies in product development, to advise roadmap decisions.
  • You are an effective collaborator and communicator, able to convey complex ideas visually (through diagrams, presentation slides, and mockups), orally, and in writing, making sure all collaborators are aligned.
  • You have 3 or more years in product management or equivalent, preferably for medical device or other regulated products.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or Health-related field. MBA or equivalent business experience a plus.
  • Experience in Clinical Studies using wearable devices is a plus.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 - 8 years of related experience.

  • 5-15%
