The AWC Portfolio Associate Manager will be responsible for marketing of the SkinCare (SCOA) products as well as support activities for AWC promotional programs, brand activities, events, training, and/or services. The position provides support to the key brands within the AWC Marketing team.

What will you be doing?

Skin Care Product Management Responsibilities (60%):

  • Manage programs and projects, develop program planning documents at a strategic and tactical level to ensure the initiative is successfully launched

  • Provide product support for multiple, key products. Examples of product projects include product launches, digital and tradeshow lead management, product sampling, ad campaigns, promotions, programs, trade show preparation, sales tool development, POA meetings, and sales training activities

  • Work in conjunction with sales management and marketing lead to develop comprehensive tools and informational resources to the sales force that create independence and confidence in customer interactions

  • Work with other customer facing internal partners to develop customer-focused educational and learning programs

  • Provide monthly updates on product performance and socialize with appropriate stakeholders

  • Provide expense and income reconciliation of budget to actual, budget to plan, and plan to actual for project assignments

  • Prepare presentations using PowerPoint and other software applications

  • Assist in analyzing market data and report presentation for Senior Management

  • Understand and analyze the competitive landscape.  This includes competitor market strategies and sales tactics.  Provides commentary on competitor activities to senior management. 

AWC Portfolio Responsibilities (40%):

  • Analyze demand trends for risk, upside across the AWC portfolio

  • Analyze effectiveness and ROI of marketing investments

  • Support pricing profitability analysis

  • Participate in creative briefing and feedback for AWC products

  • Act as the liaison for supply-related analysis and communications to internal and external stakeholders, as needed

  • Work closely with the Pricing team to help facilitate new product additions with Distributors, as needed

  • Monitor and communicate relevant backorder information to the field as needed

  • Complete all sample and eval requests for AWC products to the field

  • Work with relevant Marketing Leads to maintain the A&P Budget Tracker and reconcile appropriately each month

  • Assist in the management of marketing materials in the marketing communications approval process.  Enter into system, monitor progress, and attend review meetings.

  • Participate in development of tradeshow and educational conference content and activities.  Attend and perform booth staffing duties as required.

  • Within the areas of responsibility, understand and comply with all Smith & Nephew Inc. safety, and SOPs as well as applicable federal, state, and local regulations

  • Work with Quality and Regulatory to handle customer complaints in a proactive manner

  • Provides product knowledge to other internal partners as required (Customer Care, Medical Education, etc.)

What will you need to be successful?

  • BA/BS Required: Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications preferred

  • Up to 2 years product marketing experience preferably in Healthcare, Med-tech, Life Sciences or equivalent internships, part-time roles, or co-op experience is preferred

  • Travel: 20-30%
