Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Responsible for the oversee, plan and monitor the process of onboarding and integration of new Fund Services Clients of CFSAL including newly set up hedge fund, PE, take on fund from previous FA/ IM and etc.
- Manage the client acceptance process with client and internal departments to ensure all onboarding processes are supported by relevant documentation, reviewed and approved.
- Coordination in account opening , review and negotiation of fund offering documents
- Ensure all onboarding process are under tracked and update senior management team the onboarding process of all new clients, escalate to management on timely manner
- Responsible for liaising Deal Assessment and Risk Committee and clients on high risk case. Be part of the Deal Assessment Committee to make deal acceptance or rejection decision on case basis.
- To schedule regular project calls ensure schedule plans timeline, process issue and progress has been communicated to new client
- Act on relationship manager (RM) of the fund assigned to perform regulator client services review including operation versus services agreement, attend client board meeting, profitability analysis, client experience review, regulatory update, assist on client annual review on product and manage fund termination routine, etc.
- Maintain onboarding team standard template, procedure and tracker to streamline the best practices and trim out duplicated and inefficient process
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks and operational procedure enhancement projects as assigned;
- Assist on supervising the performance and provide coaching of junior staff
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree with major in Accounting, Finance or any related disciplines.
- Working towards HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- 5 years working experiences preferably gained in the financial services industry with strong knowledge of fund industry and difference fund structures & regulatory requirement. Fund Administrator operations experience would be an asset.
- Experience on bank/PB/ Custody account opening
- Proven project management skills
- Proactive, mature, high level of attention to detail, able to work independently under pressure and strong sense of meeting tight committed deadlines.
- Presentable, good interpersonal skill and able to work with different levels and backgrounds.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other presentation applications, including the ability to produce neatly presented work.
- Candidate with more experience will be considered for a Senior Associate role.
