Join us as our new Associate Procurement Project Manager, Novonesis
Are you passionate about communication, change management and the world of research and labs, and do you have a thing about IT tools and even in a combination with LEAN or want to explore that combination? Then you might be our new Associate Procurement Project Manager being part of the journey rolling our Digi-Lab across Novonesis. It is a temporary position to start with for 12 months with possibility for extension, 37 hours / week.

Associate Procurement Project Manager, Digi-lab Project
Novonesis is looking for an Associate Procurement Project Manager to join Indirect Procurement as part of the Global Indirect Procurement organization for a period of 12 months.
This is a challenging role where you will support one of Indirect Procurement’s strategic projects; Digitalization of ordering and inventory management (Digi-Lab) across laboratories in Denmark and USA. The purpose of the project is to apply LEAN principles and set-up the most commonly used consumables and chemicals in SAP in order to e.g. optimize stock levels, securing supply and minimize number of orders (Kanban). Digi-lab is already implemented across Novonesis Denmark (majority of sites), and your responsibility will be to assist in the continued roll out of the project. Through everyday interactions you will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across Novonesis e.g. laboratory associates, buyers from laboratories, master data team, SAP development team, project management team, managers from laboratories.
You will be based in Hørsholm, but will have a close interaction with stakeholders at our site in Lyngby, Bagsværd etc. (Copenhagen).
In this role you will make an impact by:

Supporting Novonesis’ change process towards a digitalized set-up of ordering and inventory management in the laboratories

Becoming a superuser in relevant SAP transactions (training will be provided by Novonesis)

Ensuring master data collection and validation in close collaboration with master data team in India
-
Mapping of storage locations across buildings in scope
-
Conducting of stock counts before go-live
-
Drafting and adaption of communication material
-
Supporting user acceptance tests and training of Super Users
-
Providing on-site support during hyper care phase (e.g. update of master data in SAP)
-
Curious being curious on the combination of Procurement, IT, Research and labs (R&L) and LEAN – and wanting to either developed your career more or start it within Procurement - because the world of Procurement intrigues you!

Supporting Novonesis’ change process towards a digitalized set-up of ordering and inventory management in the laboratories

Collaborating with key business stakeholders, team colleagues and R&L responsible to identify and drive improvements and through this project

Becoming a superuser in relevant SAP transactions (training will be provided by Novonesis). Supporting user acceptance tests and training of Super Users. Providing on-site support during hyper care phase (e.g. update of master data in SAP)

Generating data and mapping of storage locations across buildings supporting the business case and project execution
-
Communicating and being part of driving an inclusive and strong OCM process together with the core team and key stakeholders in line of business

Implementing new process and support driving relevant change management activities, to ensure the Digi-Lab results are anchored in the organization

Reporting and following-up on results and performance of the implemented projects phases to ensure benefits are realized

Participating in project meetings with key suppliers to identify potential future improvement initiatives and internal stakeholder communities
To succeed in the role, you:

Have an education background at Bachelor level or similar, preferably in one of these fields: Business, Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Communication, Finance or Economics with excellent academic results

Be fluent in both oral and written Danish

Be fluent in both oral and written English
-
Have solid experience and motivation to work in Microsoft Office package with special focus on Excel and PowerPoint
-
Thrive in a work environment with daily deadlines
-
Have a flair for details and accuracy
-
Be a quick and proactive learner with good communicational skills
-
Be a good team player who is also able to work independently and taking responsibility for key deliverables
It will be an advantage if you have previous experience within logistics, SAP or inventory management.
On a personal level, you are a are a team player who wants to work in international and diverse professional groups, and you have a flair for details and an interest in improving or simplifying processes. Furthermore, we expect you to be curios and solution oriented, and have explorative and solution-oriented mindset.
