Job Description

Position is responsible for interfacing with Best Buy while working with product line, Accounting/Finance, and internal EMA teams to develop selling strategies to drive incremental business for all product line(s) while maintaining target profitability levels and volume.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Preferred applicants should be experienced sales professionals with a verifiable record of high performance and strength with negotiating complex contracts and programs
  • Experience with and strong understanding of a National Account sales strategies. Effectively partner with Sales Operations to ensure proper execution of all initiatives to drive operational excellence as defined by Electrolux North America.
  • Develop promotional plans for In-Store and Online with EMA Merchandising team to maximize return for EMA/Best Buy
  • Support the development of strategic product line-ups with detailed feature and benefit specifications online and in-store coordinated with Product Line / Merchandising Manager that reflects the EMA brand marketing strategy. With the purpose of delivering improved mix/profit and brand awareness.
  • Manage daily customer requests on logistics, and ensure timely forecasting, production, planning and delivery in close contact with the cross-functional team.
  • Create, develop, and test new opportunities throughout the order-to-cash process that will improve efficiency, reduce damage, and maximize ROI.
  • Lead and prepare with EMA cross functional group any customer Product Line Reviews across product categories.
  • Work collaboratively with Best Buy on product development where applicable.
  • Support the Merchandising team in retail discussions with the ability to present and follow up on potential business opportunities
  • Responsible for new model set-up and activation with customers in-store and online.
  • Act as project leader for specific projects as assigned.
  • Work with finance team and related functions to properly allocate customer-related investments within the organization.
  • Maintain and communicate all pertinent industry analysis data.
  • Creation and updating of additional reporting for customer sales tracking.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in Business Administration
  • 3+ years sales, sales operations, finance, marketing or merchandising experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
  • Solid financial analysis aptitude
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong SAP, Data Mining, and Excel skills preferred
  • Good basic knowledge of product development processes, advertising, marketing and sales
  • Proven competency in MS Office Applications, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word 
  • Capable of setting priorities, meeting pre-determined deadlines and multi-tasking
  • Ability to travel as needed
