Title: Associate Manager, Project Management

Location: Kansas City| Hybrid

We are looking for an organized, driven, and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and manage a variety of projects within our Retail Alternatives Transfer Agency line of business. This role primarily focuses on managing end to end implementations - including new client onboardings, client conversions, technology deployments, and the establishment of new business relationships – from project kick-off through transition to business-as-usual operations. The Project Manager will play a key role in guiding internal stakeholders and client partners through clearly defined timelines, deliverables and success criteria. Additional projects include coordinating client specific rebranding initiatives as well as gathering stakeholders and documenting requirements for new development projects.

What You Will Get To Do: 

  • Lead and manage 6-8 projects simultaneously, ensuring timely, within-scope, and on-budget delivery.
  • Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding of new clients onto the SS&C platform while serving as an early point of contact to build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Implement new clients, update client portals, and manage client setup on updated platforms.
  • Assist existing clients with conversion and rebranding initiatives.
  • Oversee project development and enhancements, ensuring alignment with client needs.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve project risks, issues, and changes as they arise.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports and status updates.
  • Monitor project progress, track performance, and adjust plans as necessary to stay on course.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet the expected quality standards and client expectations.
  • Manage resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of personnel, budget, and materials.

  • Lead and coordinate project meetings—including kick-off sessions and regular status updates—with clients and internal stakeholders, and identify project requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate project performance post-completion and provide actionable recommendations for future projects.

What You Will Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience managing projects or in a similar role.
  • Must have some experience in financial services, banking, reconciliation, accounting etc.
  • Proficiency with project tracking and data analysis tools, including JIRA, Microsoft 365 and Excel, is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lead 6-8 projects simultaneously.
