About This Role:
Axsome Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Manager/Manager, Marketing Operations. The Associate Manager/Manager, Marketing Operations will support many key activities as part of the marketing team. This role is responsible for supporting the execution of various initiatives including to congress, peer to peer programs, tactic development, and marketing operations. This role reports to the Director, Marketing Operations and Professional Education.
This role is based at Axsome’s HQ in New York City with an on-site requirement of at least three days per week. We are unable to consider candidates who are looking for fully remote roles.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage speaker caps and Commercial and Digital Excellence Team Purchase Orders
- Partner with vendor IT on portal updates including new configurations
- Additional marketing initiatives and responsibilities aligned to the core business strategy as assigned
- Lead logistics planning and execution for speaker bureau, speaker trainings and advisory boards
- Work with legal and compliance to triage speaker bureau exemption and escalation process according to Axsome policy
- Lead congress planning and work with brand team to secure congress sponsorships
- Work with brand team on congress planning and operational support in conjunction with medical
- Support HCP key neurology franchise marketing activities/initiatives to increase operational excellence
- Manage print/production fulfillment vendor
- Establish strong relationships with key internal functions including Sales, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Legal and Regulatory
- Ensure that all marketing activities are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in organizing speaker programs, congresses planning, and Key Opinion Leader engagements in Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical Industries
- Ability to work on site Monday, Tuesday & Thursday. We are unable to consider candidates who are looking for fully remote roles.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience interfacing and coordinating with stakeholders and leadership team members
- A proactive, creative and entrepreneurial approach
- Prior experience engaging with marketing teams
- CNS disease expertise and/or experience is a plus
- Project management skills and experience
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills
Salary & Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this role is $95,000 - $120,000. We encourage candidates of all levels to apply as there may be flexibility on final job title and responsibilities. The salary offer will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, internal equity and location.
