Job Description: 

The Associate Manager is a product liaison with cross-functional teams within Amplify including, but not limited to, Customer Experience (Technical Onboarding, Customer Support, and Customer Success), Professional Learning, Training & Enablement, Sales, Marketing, and Bids & Proposals. They collaborate with other members of the Product team to problem-solve and communicate solutions to customer-facing teams.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the management of live in-market products: supports customer-facing teams with product knowledge and strategy while also bringing information on current implementations back to internal development teams to help improve processes and products.

    • Assists a broad range of stakeholders beyond the product team with general product knowledge and direction.

    • Supports product line stakeholders to address unexpected issues impacting customers.

    • Supports efforts to ensure product teams have the information needed to make informed product development decisions through regular reports to product line teams. This includes, but is not limited to:

      • Understanding “hotspot” issues and reporting up to the product team about trends and themes impacting customers.

  • Champion: develop a strong understanding of the Math Suite products and represent them proudly when working with internal and external stakeholders. 

    • Supports collaboration with the Training & Enablement team to train and review content for internal teams.

    • Represents suite in cross-functional forums as appropriate.

    • Represents product line in external contexts as appropriate (e.g., webinars, customer meetings). This includes, but is not limited to, content development, content delivery, meeting support, strategic guidance, material review as appropriate.

  • Bids/RFPs: leading the processes to respond to districts interested in reviewing our products to provide us with the best chance possible at getting adopted.

    • Supports the review of incoming Bids/RFPS on behalf of the Suite to understand whether our products are aligned to the given opportunity; flagging where additional development or stakeholder engagement may be needed prior to response.

    • Supports the completion of RFP materials alongside Bids.

  • Systems, Processes, and Communication: modeling strong reflection and action on the way we work together and discuss that work, including leading efforts to strengthen or revise those processes.

    • Supports regular meetings and sub-team strategy and planning sessions.

    • Preparing decks, documents, and other artifacts for communication purposes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience

  • 3+ years experience in a customer support, account management, professional development role, classroom teaching or similar experience required with a track record of high quality results

  • Prior experience with the Amplify Math products

  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work productively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to effectively support a project plan with tasks, owners, deliverables, and due dates

  • Proficiency with office software including Google products (docs, sheets) and Microsoft products (Excel, Word)

  • Ability to travel (approx 5%) to Amplify’s New York Office Headquarters for occasional workshops

Preferred Qualifications:

  • K-12 teaching experience

What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross annualized salary range for this role is $83,000 - $93,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
