Associate Manager, Real Assets

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all SLAs for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly activities are met.
• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Real Assets fund accountants to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Oversee key fund accounting processes, including:
  • Booking of daily journal entries
  • Management fee calculation and accrued expense reimbursements
  • Investment valuation and periodic financial/investor reporting
  • Cash projections, reconciliations, and break resolution
  • Processing capital calls and distributions and preparing waterfall calculations
  • NAV calculation and fee computations
• Assist in fund setup and structuring of investments, AIVs, and partners in the system.
• Prepare and issue Partners’ Capital Statements (PCAP).
• Prepare Financial Statements (FS) in compliance with US GAAP/IFRS.
• Handle audit and investor queries in a timely manner.
• Provide customized and ad-hoc reports for funds and investors.
• Train new team members and ensure best practices are followed.

Skills & Qualifications:

Desired Skills:

• MBA/CA/Graduate with 5 to 7 years of relevant Fund Accounting experience in Real Assets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a team-player attitude.
• Sound knowledge of financial products, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
• Strong understanding of Real Assets fund structures and valuation methodologies.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Key Deliverables & Goals:

• Zero issues in fund setup and static data configuration.
• No unresolved breaks on NAV date—ensuring follow-up with internal teams, clients, and third parties.
• Accurate and timely deliverables per the agreed client calendar.
• Zero findings in Internal Audit (IA) reviews / SOC1 certification.
• No escalations from clients or internal stakeholders.
• No material issues in NAV, Financial Statements (FS), PCAPs, or other deliverables.
• Zero re-runs of deliverables due to SS&C errors.
