The Position
You will be part of the department's technical team and will have a varied workday. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure maximum uptime for our technical systems while optimizing operational efficiency and resource utilization. You will also help ensure that we always comply with applicable regulations, standards, and procedures.
Your main tasks will be:

  • Monitoring the stable operation of systems.
  • Establishing and adhering to maintenance plans.
  • Implementing system optimizations.
  • Carrying out upgrades, modifications, and renovations.


There will be close collaboration with the plant's production team, our regular craftsmen, and other stakeholders to define, coordinate, and plan tasks. Your work will be both practical and administrative.
You will be part of our 24/7 shift rotation. The shift covers all plants on the Hillerød site and ensures that operations are maintained during off-hours. You should expect to be on shift approximately every 9 weeks. Comprehensive training will be provided before you join the shift rotation.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we envision that you have most of the following qualifications:

  • An education as a mechanical engineer or another relevant technical qualification.
  • Previous experience with the operation and maintenance of technical systems.
  • It is an advantage if you have a background in a craft-based trade.
  • Proficiency in Danish and English, both spoken and written, at a professional level.

Our plant site is undergoing very exciting developments, of which you will be a part. Therefore, we expect you to be open to changes, able to view things from a higher perspective, and solve issues collaboratively with your colleagues. You are cooperative and able to communicate verbally and in writing with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
About the Department
The department is part of Corporate Facilities (CFa), which provides services to several areas in Novo Nordisk, Denmark. We are approximately 260 employees in Bagsværd, Gentofte, Hillerød, Måløv, Søborg, and Kalundborg. The position is organizationally located in Hillerød, where we currently have 25 colleagues.
