Position Description
The Investment Analyst will be responsible for private company and asset backed investment due diligence, execution, and investment monitoring.
The Department
Lending Ark Asia Secured Private Debt Fund makes privately negotiated asset backed investments across Asia Pacific and Australia/New Zealand.
Specialization Focus:
Rating agency/ corporate rating works; or
Impact/ ESG investment
Key Area of Responsibilities
- Support senior investment professionals on investment analysis, execution and portfolio monitoring,
- including:
- Perform initial investment screens and reviews
- Undertake company, industry, collateral due diligence
- Financial modelling and analysis
- Execution of investment transactions
- Monthly monitoring of investment portfolios
- Quarterly valuation reports
- Monitoring of markets and investment trends
Requirements
- Bachelor degree with 3-5 years of credit experience, securitization or structured credit a plus
- Native English speaker with strong oral/written skills
- Able to put together investment memos and financial models with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Strong technical ability (e.g., Bloomberg, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Sound analytical skills with good judgement
- Accustomed to working in an international environment
- Ability to work in dynamic work environment with changing priorities
