Job Description
Associate, Insights and Analytics
As an Associate Insights & Analytics Specialist at Checkout.com, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for analysing Commercial & Operations data to extract insights in an effort to better gauge the effectiveness of our go to market strategies and onboarding lifecycle efficiencies across global regions. You'll work closely with experienced cross-functional stakeholders to learn the ropes, contribute to key analyses, provide direct support to peer stakeholders, and help develop data-driven recommendations on how we can optimize investments across our Merchant Lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the analysis of sales and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards, content automation, and self-service tools curated for management and their respective teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders to build an understanding of BAU reporting needs and support ad-hoc initiatives
- Create regular reports and presentations that track team performance and progress against targets & OKRs.
- Proactively identify and work with Business Intelligence to curate the shared data roadmap for the commercial & operations organization
- Develop mastery of Excel and data visualization tools (like Looker/Tableau) and proficiency in SQL through hands-on experience and guidance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, mathematics, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in an analytical role, preferably with some exposure to sales, marketing, or operational data. (Relevant internships or academic projects are a plus!)
- Basic understanding of analytical concepts and techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, manipulation, and visualization
- Experience with data modeling, forecasting, and regression analysis
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to learn.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
