The Team You Will Join
This position reports directly to the VP, HRBP for the Global Customer Service and Operations and Corporate Real Estate organization and will work collaboratively within the HR Community of Global Technology and Operations.
The Opportunity
This role supports the VP and a team of Senior Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs) within Global Customer Service and Operations and Corporate Real Estate, an organization of over 10,000 employees, to mobilize tailored, effective and forward-thinking people solutions in support of business priorities. This role will help enable an exciting change agenda and build the capabilities that MetLife's talent needs today and for the future. Associate HRBPs collaborate well across the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and are passionate about having a positive impact on the organization.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
- Support Senior HRBPs with organizational design, job or role design, workforce development and other initiatives that enable strategic goals.
- Produce monthly headcount/turnover reports and additional dashboards as requested
- Use data and insights to understand trends, support decision-making and prep for metrics meetings.
- Support HRBPs by facilitating forums to communicate applicable policy or process updates for front line supervisors
- Design materials to enable and enhance the change management process
- Partner across the function with all HR COE's to deliver solutions to the business in support of people and culture.
- Support large-scale programs and initiatives to prepare MetLife's talent for the organization's future.
- Participate in special projects as requested.
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3+ years relevant HR experience
- Successful track record working collaboratively within matrix-organization and/or cross-functionally
- Thorough understanding of HR Management and processes
- Ability to review data sets and identify trends
- Proficiency in creating and editing materials in MS PowerPoint and Excel
- Comfortable in presenting materials during meetings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High levels of confidentiality and emotional intelligence
- Desire to challenge status quo and implement fresh, new ways of working
- A natural problem-solver, motivated by achieving goals and working through challenges
The salary range for applicants for this position is $76,500 - $100,000.
