As an Associate managing the general operations of Zelle ® at Chase, you will be part of a fast-paced environment where we solve complex problems. This team supports alignment and compliance with the Zelle ® Network strategy. We support our cross functional stakeholders in Fraud, Claims, Marketing and Customer Service as we partner directly with our digital product development team to enhance and deliver new features for Zelle ® at Chase.
You will play a pivotal supporting role by bringing effective communication and robust problem-solving skills. You must be adaptable, analytical, and possesses exceptional attention to detail. You are committed to meeting deadlines efficiently and are passionate about optimizing processes and enhancing risk management strategies. This role is suited to someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and is interested in learning product operations and business management from the ground up, becoming an expert in the dense rule set which governs our product. You will advance your career through excellent day-to-day delivery,
Job responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication to serve as a trusted partner.
- Streamline processes to align with Network strategy, ensuring compliance with Early Warning Services (EWS) Zelle® Network standards and regulations, and adhering to all legal, regulatory, and operational requirements.
- Engage in strategic projects that support daily operational management, contributing to analysis, reporting, and risk management.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate operational risks related to Zelle ® 's products and services at Chase.
- Apply analytical skills to identify and resolve issues, enhancing team performance.
- Work independently to manage deliverables, communicate progress, and address blockers.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives such as customer escalations, procedures, audits, and regulatory inquiries while helping to establish operational standards.
- Monitor control reporting to identify emerging risks and ensure processes meet leadership, regulatory, and customer expectations.
- Embrace all opportunities to learn product operations and contribute to business management
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 2+ years of experience in business operations, product management, risk, audit, accounting, finance, or similar field.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with competing priorities and timelines while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Detail oriented with excellent record keeping ability.
- Respect for the critical nature of deadlines.
- Self-starter with an analytical mindset and ability to solve problems, address blockers, and suggest improvements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence peers and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Humble team player who enjoys being part of creating solutions.
- Knowledge of payments and digital banking trends a plus, but open to experience in other industries
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Bachelor's degree.
