Associate Ecommerce Analyst

Job Summary

The Associate Ecommerce Analyst will work within the DTC Digital Commerce Analytics team, helping support the Lee, Wrangler, and Rock and Republic ecommerce teams in North America and EMEA in their reporting and analytics needs. This individual will develop deep knowledge of our core data architecture and analytics roadmap, and leverage that knowledge in assisting with report design, analysis, and insights. This candidate should have working knowledge of basic KPIs of an ecommerce website, as well as marketing channel performance metrics.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have a passion for using data to answer business questions that are complex, dynamic, and not always clear-cut. They will excel at divining the connection between a strategic question and the data needed to answer that question.

Responsibilities include maintaining recurring reporting, handling ad hoc requests, and coordinating activities supporting larger one-off projects that involve large datasets from disparate sources. Exceptional candidates will have experience in an analytics-focused role; however, this role would also be a good fit for a candidate that is passionate about data and problem-solving, with critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities

  • Maintain ongoing regular reporting on marketing channels, product performance, content reporting, and promotion effectiveness and develop reporting capabilities to answers ad hoc business questions
  • Work with internal stakeholders to capture new report requirements and build dashboards/segments/audiences/reports as needed to meet those requirements.
  • Assist in data hygiene efforts and validation with BI/data warehousing team; cleanse and prep new data ahead of loading
  • Provide support for larger data science projects, including data collection, coding, and interpretation
  • Provide administrative support for analytics products, including access requests, monitoring, and routine updates

Experience

  • Evaluating business questions and identifying the data & analysis needed to answer without being given specific requirements
  • Building reports/visualizations that answer specific questions or measure progress against specific goals
  • Blending data from multiple sources to build reports/dashboards
  • Advanced Excel usage, including pivot tables, advanced data lookup options, forecasting/regression functions, and working with multiple data sets
  • BA / BS in marketing, business, statistics, computer science, engineering or related degree.
  • Working with BI/visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Looker Studio, Domo)
  • Working knowledge of one or more languages (SQL, Python, R) commonly used in data analysis
  • Experience in digital marketing, web analytics, or any kind of business performance reporting
  • Working in the ecommerce, apparel/footwear/fashion industry

  • Comfortable dealing with uncertainties, complexities, and/or incomplete data, while exhibiting an extremely high degree of attention to detail in your analysis and recommendations.
  • Possessing a positive attitude. You are a self-starter who is constantly on the lookout for areas of improvement or places you can pitch in, and you do so with a professional and upbeat attitude.
