The Associate Director, Solution and Industry Consulting, will lead a team of Solution Consultants who partner with Sales Representatives. This role is responsible for managing the budget, ensuring team efficiency, and meeting sales and revenue targets for the team. The Associate Director will develop and allocate the team to effectively serve the sales organization and maintain close attention to key performance indicators.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct the work effort and performance of quota-carrying Solution Consultants.
- Develop and execute the Solution Consulting strategy in order to support the overall Compliance Solutions sales strategy and strategic direction from the Head of Sales
- Proactively drive team accountable to targets by managing pipeline, workloads, budget, and coaching.
- Provide strategic insights into Solution Consulting team performance and identify strategies and growth opportunities to help WK Compliance Solutions meet its revenue, growth, and retention objectives through the promotion of high-growth solutions
- Monitor the pipeline and identify accounts with potential new or cross-sell opportunities that Solution Consulting can support.
- Define a set of standard operating procedures incorporating best practices, manage performance against established success metrics, and report on benchmarks .
- Manage multiple priorities; develop and execute standard practices for resource allocation of the Solution Consulting team to meet needs across the organization.
- Proactively drive team to capture Voice of Market and provide Voice of Market to internal partners
- Create a workforce planning strategy, hire approved positions, and develop additional Solution Consulting resources, as needed, to drive and maintain high performance.
- Foster a highly engaged, proactive, motivated, and strong-performing culture through coaching and targeted feedback to support deal closure and develop team talent.
- Develop effective internal business relationships with other leaders, including Direct Sales, Partnerships, Innovation, Product, Professional Services, Finance, Sales Support, and more.
- Foster a strong culture by inspiring Solution Consultants, generating excitement and engagement, and driving collaboration with Sales, Customers, and internal partners (Product, Professional Services, Finance, etc.).
- Promote innovation initiatives related to assigned team products
- Provide and/or organize education and information sharing opportunities to Account Executives with the purpose of increasing sales
- Speak fluently to pipeline health and future sales/forecasting
Job Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
Experience:
- 7+ years’ combined successful commissioned sales experience and sales management experience required
- Proven track record meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Experience leading solution overviews and working alongside Sales Reps throughout the lead-to-order process preferred.
- Experience collaborating with Product and Technology teams to provide insights to customer-centric solutions
- Industry experience and customer contacts; build or elevate brand presence in the Financial Services industry
- Strong Sales Acumen
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
- Lead, manage, coach, and inspire Solution Consultant team members
- Analytical background with the ability to interpret and act on sales data is preferred.
- Deep knowledge of WK offerings and their technical characteristics or ability to get up to speed quickly from experience with similar offerings is preferred
- Familiarity with Demo2Win, Consensus, and RAIN Selling’s Consultative Selling Methodology
Travel requirements
- Up to 10% domestic travel may be required.
