Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Assist Director to oversee all operations functions, including post trade processing and settlement, cash management and nominee services, etc.
- Review the operational procedures and establish proper policies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide professional support to Front Office and Business on enquiries of operational related matters.
- Liaise with internal and external counterparts to follow up any operational related issues.
- Ensure all operations functions and tasks are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements as well as Group policies.
- Review and streamline operational flow through system automation to maximized productivity.
- Participant in new products and business implementation process, ensure proper control in place and arrange sufficient resources before product and business go lives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of back office operational systems, participate and manage relevant user acceptance test and system implementation.
- Assist to manage staff to ensure Business objectives are achieved.
- Assist to develop a good standard of performance working culture within teams and Operations.
- Preparation of Management/ Ad hoc reports if any.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Finance or Business Administration or related discipline(s)
- At least 8 to 10 years of experience in Operations, with expertise in equities, fixed income, funds, structured products, SBL, and derivatives
- Familiar with CCASS, DCASS, Euroclear, CMU, CMT and related systems operations
- Good communication, leadership and inter-personal skills
- Strong project management, process transformation experience and some IT advanced knowledge is preferable.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
