Position Summary:
ultraimpact – Make a difference for those who need it most
The ADRA (Associate Director Regional Accounts) will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining broad access to all Ultragenyx products across regional commercial and government accounts within their assigned geography.
Work Model:
Field: Officially documented as working as a member of the Ultragenyx field team, generally interacting with third parties on behalf of Ultragenyx.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure broad coverage for Ultragenyx products within assigned area
- Present compelling clinical and economic value proposition and related data on Ultragenyx products to managed care
- Effective in identifying access/reimbursement issues, assessing, and enacting effective solutions across assigned accounts
- Maintain understanding of current reimbursement trends and policies and impact on access and reimbursement
- Collaborate with commercial field team, medical affairs, patient services to resolve reimbursement issues that may be barriers to drug access
- Assist in field training with support of leadership as needed
- Build and maintain effective business relationships across assigned accounts (c-suite, clinical management, pharmacy management, medical management, case management)
- Attending and representing Ultragenyx at managed care conferences and trade shows as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience in US payer reimbursement and/or coverage policy and eight years of experience in the pharma / biotech industry
- Degrees – Science and MBA/MHA or other graduate level program preferred
- Minimum B.S. degree preferably in one of the following areas: Science Communications, Healthcare Management, Marketing, Nursing, or Pharmacy
- Launch experience in the rare disease strongly preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of US healthcare reimbursement system in both commercial and government payers
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Excellent clinical, financial, and analytical skills and acumen
- Must be willing to travel >50% #LI-Remote
The typical annual salary range for this full-time position is listed below. This range reflects the characteristics of the job, such as required skills and qualifications and is based on the office location noted in this job posting. The range may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This position is eligible for annual bonus and equity incentives. Actual individual pay is determined by demonstrated experience and internal equity alignment.
Pay Range
$188,900—$233,300 USD
