YOUR ROLE:

The Associate Director of Experience Strategy is a key leadership role responsible for bridging the gap between marketing initiatives and sales team efforts. This position focuses on creating a seamless customer journey by integrating CRM systems, leveraging data analysis, and optimizing system integrations to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in marketing strategy, CRM platforms, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the development of Marketing to Sales strategy across large, complex clients
  • Own all strategic deliverables across the account, such as annual strategic plans, campaign strategies, creative briefs, customer journeys or personas
  • Have the confidence, gravitas, presentation and relationship building skills to drive change across client stakeholders and build the vision for CRM
  • Partner with Marketing Sciences to develop integrated test and measurement plans
  • Contribute to strategic recommendations on core CRM technologies (CDPs, journey orchestration tools etc.) in partnership with technology team members
  • Be a champion for CRM strategy within the office, network, and Omnicom at large
  • Act as a liaison between account, client, technology and marketing science teams to ensure cohesive execution of strategies.
  • Facilitate regular communication and workshops to foster alignment and collaboration across teams.
  • Strategically build client relationships and trust, and proactively identify business opportunities
  • Contribute to growing our thought leadership program
  • Contribute to a working environment in which diversity, unique perspectives, collaboration, and ‘jumping in’ thrives.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Specific experience in CRM strategy development, owning the client’s strategy from conception to delivery
  • Experience managing and owning the development and delivery of strategic deliverables (annual plans, customer journeys, creative briefs etc) across complex client accounts
  • Confidence in working with senior clients on complex projects with impressive presentation skills, gravitas and credibility
  • Strong understanding of the data driven marketing landscape and a desire to invent the future of marketing
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • You’ll have a track record of getting things done – you’ll need to be a driving force behind our desire to ‘keep our clients ahead of the game’. We want you to challenge their conventions and bring their strategies to life.
  • Interpersonally savvy – you will need to be able to handle the client on your own, lead projects and be their trusted advisor at RAPP.
  • Team leadership and guidance – you will need to be the organizer and driver of a cross-discipline team that has to wade through complicated, interconnected projects with multiple client stakeholders
  • You’ll support the rest of the team in their professional development by inputting to and quality controlling their delivery.

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
