Associate Director, Equity Derivatives Structuring, Equity Derivatives

Position Description

Work with sales/trading/senior structurers on complex structuring projects. Focused on solution-based projects.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• New Product Design and Market Exploration:
  • Develop and design innovative products tailored to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for product development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market efficiently and effectively.
• Client Coverage:
  • Work closely with the sales team to cover key clients in the region and globally.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

• Project Leadership:
  • Lead complex, solution-based projects across the region, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.       
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align project objectives and resources.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
• Business Development: Identify and originate new clients and business opportunities for the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering or related fields.
• Experience working within an investment bank.
• Strong quantitative background and good programming skills.
• Team player, good personality and motivation.
• Good interpersonal and communications skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua preferred).
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Associate.
