About the Job

The Associate Director, Boosters and Travel & Endemic (T&E) Franchises, US will be responsible for development and implementation of the country level strategies for Boosters and T&E franchises. This role is responsible for optimization of performance and integration into portfolio strategy across the Boosters and T&E product categories. This position will oversee the proper implementation of “glocal” strategy development and execution and partner cross-functionally to ensure achievement of dose and revenue goals across the boosters and T&E franchises. This role is a leadership position and requires significant collaboration with key stakeholders. This position will report directly to the Head of Mainline Franchise.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of strategy that optimizes brand and franchise performance through a blend of brand and portfolio approach

  • Development of detailed monthly forecasts across all products within boosters and T&E franchises, inclusive of in-depth customer segmentation

  • Lead the coordination of supply and demand management to ensure consistent supply of product to the market place

  • In-depth knowledge of all applicable markets and competitors, with clear KPI’s for monitoring performance

  • Improving brand growth and business performance by leveraging real-time data and results, and deeply understanding the behavior change of customers

  • Drive market access to assess competitiveness of the Boosters and T&E franchises and partner with market access to develop recommendations to support franchise objectives

  • Defining and implementing a segmentation strategy that identifies the brand opportunities and informs deployment and execution

  • Capitalizing on market/brand/customer opportunities based on changing customer demands, competitive activities, and market trends

  • Refining strategies to adjust to changing competitive landscape

  • Allocate advertising budget in proportion to maximize return on investment to drive revenue and profitability, with optimization of global and local assets

  • Inform product lifecycle needs and provide US input in portfolio and pipeline/launch planning for boosters and T&E franchises

  • Lead strategic projects across the portfolios, inclusive of potential acquisitions, investments and applicable needs as they arise

  • Collaborate with public affairs and medical teams on relevant public health initiatives

  • Partner with NA GTMC Hub to optimize capabilities and efficiencies in support of Boosters and Travel portfolios

About You

Education Requirement(s):

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree

  • Preferred: Master’s Degree

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of pharmaceutical or vaccine experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years of vaccine marketing experience

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong critical and strategic thinking skills

  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills

  • Experience influencing without direct authority

  • Proven ability to partner across a matrixed organization

  • Experience achieving efficiencies through effective organization and time management

  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with a strong attention to detail

  • Creativity, enthusiasm, analytical acumen, and exceptional overall business insights

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in US vaccines market and in-depth knowledge of US vaccines customer segments and buying channels

  • Experience with forecasting as well as managing and owning a P&L, customer segmentation and analytics
