The Role:

Asset Servicing manager will sit within the Operations team supporting the Clear Street UK Business. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures whilst managing the day-to-day workload. The successful candidate will be the main point of contact for all asset servicing queries across all business lines for the UK business.

As this is a new role, it will also require an ability to assist in the formation, development and onward support of a new team of individuals, you will also focus on providing innovative value add services to increase potential business revenue whilst reducing Manual Touchpoints and driving operational efficiency through automation.


The Team:

Clear Street’s mission is to become a single-source platform that serves a variety of investor types across multiple asset classes on a global scale. The Clear Street U.K. team is bringing Clear Street’s established equities, options, and fixed-income prime brokerage business to a new market. Given that this team is relatively new, you’ll have the opportunity to shape and build the asset serving team.


Responsibilities: 

  • Acts as the main liaison between internal partners across all business lines, including the Trading Desk, operations and technology teams to help resolve issues that have been escalated.
  • Coordinates and delivers quarterly Service and Product Reviews with the team for improvement and plan enhancement
  • Participates in in-person client and prospect meetings
  • Executes business strategy by staying up to date on market conditions, handling and resolving complex corporate action issues, and analysing data to address risk issues and trends
  • Creates and strives to maintain a high level of client satisfaction which is measured by both internal and third-party benchmarks
  • Stay abreast of new product developments and industry trends.
  • Establishing internal relationships, hosting calls, inquiry response/research, account maintenance and analysing questions, requests, and problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of client and internal issues and see them through to resolution with minimal supervision.


Skills required:

  • At least five (5) years of Corporate Actions in a custody and/or middle office environment
  • Strong business sense and awareness of the key issues/risks within a Corporate Action environment
  • Demonstrate high-level knowledge and understanding of the Cash Equity and Fixed Income products. knowledge of other products such as Swap/Synthetic PB and Stock Lending.
  • Client Focus, Relationship Building and Business Acumen
  • Excellent communicator (both orally and written)
  • Well organized and client focused
  • Exceptional follow-up and follow through skills
  • Aptitude to learn a complex system platform
  • Collaboration – can partner and establish relationships
  • Ability to manage complex projects and work with a cross-functional team
